Jumping into our last week before the school holidays! Friday will be our last day and classes will resume on the 26th of April. Don’t forget Little mermaid rehearsals for the Main cast are required from the 14-17th of April from 9am-12pm and will be $120 per student for the 4 day rehearsal schedule. The ensemble cast are needed on the 16th and 17th of April for a whole cast run through and will be $60 for the 2 sessions.

We have 2 options available to students- main cast and ensemble.
Students who wish to have minimal/ no speaking roles and just wish to sing and dance, do not need to audition and can complete the sessions in their normal musical theatre classes. This will make up our ensemble cast. Students who want to participate in the general musical theatre term classes but not perform in the musical can still partake in the general classes.
Students who wish to be a part of the main cast (have a major or minor role with speaking parts, singing and dancing) will need to complete the January and April holiday programs, and be registered to do our general musical theatre classes for Terms 1 and 2.
Our audition and rehearsal process for main and minor roles will run from the 13th-17th of January 9am-12pm.
This is a great opportunity for students to gain more confidence in themselves, their performance abilities and be a part of an amazing team!

Some of our older students might be doing a double take at the studio as we welcome back Amy from Scotland!
Amy started dancing in Scotland from the age of 3 in ballet, jazz and tap. She moved to Australia in 2012, starting acro, cheer, pointe, hiphop, ariel silks and musical theatre. She danced at Electric until 2019, when she moved back to Scotland and studied Professional Dance and Performance in dance college.
She started her training with one of the top UK dance schools (Firebird Dance Company) and competed across pom, lyrical, and hiphop, winning multiple worlds bids and national titles.
Since competing at the dance world championships in Orlando, Florida for three consecutive years in hiphop and lyrical, and this year her team took home the jazz world champion title. Her favourite styles are jazz, heels, lyrical and commercial.
Amy is back and excited to share her experiences and teach the next generation of Electric talent.

Electric Entertainment Movie Night presents
'Hop'.
This event is open to Electric Entertainment students, as well as the open public.
This event is a 5yrs+ event, however younger children may attend if accompanied by a fully-paid parent.
Tickets are available on the door and are $10 per person. Tickets include entry into the movie night, a sausage sizzle and a drink.
Popcorn, icypoles, lolly bags and additional drinks are also available for purchase.
Tickets can be prepaid prior to the 23rd of March or purchased at the door. Please reference “child’s name-movie night”.

There are quite a few changes to last year's timetable, most notably that we've been able to move our Musical Theatre classes off of Friday afternoons, and that we are unable to offer Saturday Ballet classes (for this year).

###Just a reminder that Term 1 this year is only 9 weeks long, so fees (other than our Unlimited Dancer option) are calculated according to a 9 week term. Please let us know if you need help calculating this. Term fees are due in full by February the 17th, late fees are unfortunately added if received after this date.###
Finally, we have changed our enrolment process this year. We are now using a digital registration form for all enrolments. This form can be found at www.cognitoforms.com/ElectricEntertainmentDanceSchool/ElectricEntertainment2024RegistrationForm
###a reminder that if you are new to Electric Entertainment, we encourage you completing this form 'after' your child/children have completed their free trials and you are certain that you wish to enrol.###
